Interactive Project Manager

SKILLS REQUIRED & DESCRIPTION:

Art Squad/Austin is seeking an Interactive Project Manager for an agency client located in downtown Austin. As an Assistant Interactive Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting project development including involvement in interfacing with the various departments within the agency to move things through on behalf of the client and ensuring synergy between interactive and traditional initiatives. You will support all of the steps throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements analysis, to documentation, test plans, project delivery and on-going reporting. You must be articulate, have a strong technical background and be able to effectively communicate with non-technical people.

Responsibilities Include:

- Collaboration with account service, creative, production and development team members to track and coordinate resources to ensure all deadlines and requirements are met.

- Developing client estimates and assist with proposal development.

- Managing project adherence to timelines, budgets and project scope, and keeping team leader and team members informed of status and deadlines.

- Owning the documentation for appropriate processes and workflow for projects.

- Researching and identifying appropriate outside resources and communicate with these vendors on projects.

- Monitoring and supervising quality control of interactive projects.

- Owning coordination of regular website changes and updates.

- Maintaining working files/job jackets on all projects.

- Management of customer work-in-progress sites.

 Required Experience:

- Bachelor's degree required.

- Proficient with standard Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.) software.

- A minimum of two years of interactive (web) or project management experience.

- Strong knowledge of interactive technology and design.

- Ability to create, maintain and drive a weekly production schedule.

- Excellent written, oral communication and effective team-building skills.

- Must be assertive, highly motivated and have strong leadership, project-management and communications skills.

- Self-motivated with the ability to manage many projects simultaneously and effectively within a fast-paced environment.
