In 2004, Imprimis received the “2004 Women's Business Enterprise of the Year” Award from the Women's Business Council Southwest. We continue to maintain a high profile in the Texas market as a woman-owned business known for its keen awareness of human resources issues.

Valerie Freeman, founder and CEO is also a past recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners “National Business Owner of the Year”, Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year”, Sales and Marketing Executives’ “Small Business Person of the Year”, TempNet’s “Member of the Year”, and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council’s “Business Star”.

She is also a founder and Board member of two for-profit organizations: ANSERTEAM, LLC, a national staffing company, and the Texas Women Ventures Fund, which makes investments in women-owned companies. Prior to this, she was a founder and Board member of Resource Bank, which became Texas Capital Bank.

Valerie has served on many boards of civic and business organizations over her 30-year career and has been instrumental in founding many others. Currently, she is the Chairman of the Board of the Dallas County Community College District Foundation as well as Board member of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and Women’s Business Council of the Southwest where she chairs the Audit Committee. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Women’s Enterprise Publications, NAWBO’s National Advisory council, and the Steering Committees of the Executive Women’s Roundtable and the Dallas Chapter of Women Corporate Directors. She is a member of Executive Women of Dallas, the Dallas Summit, Dallas Assembly, Leadership Texas Alumnae, Committee of 200, World President’s Organization, YPO Alumnae, and International Women’s Forum.
