Imprimis Group to Announce Winners of Holiday Design Contest
DALLAS, TX (December 15, 2008) – In our ongoing commitment to support our community and improve the environment, we have partnered with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas to design this year’s holiday e-cards in an effort to enrich the lives of others and save a few trees. On behalf of Imprimis Group, Valerie Freeman, founder and chief executive officer is proud to announce the winners of the 2008 Holiday E-Card Design Contest. The presentation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. The event will be hosted at the corporate headquarters of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas.
Congratulations to Keilah Whitaker and Luz Vasquez of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas for having the winning designs in this year’s contest. As the top two finishers, both Keilah and Luz will not only have their designs featured on the company holiday e-cards but will also receive a one-month sponsorship of after-school programs in addition to a framed plaque of the holiday e-card featuring their design. This year’s runner-up, Micah Whitaker, will receive a one-week sponsorship of after-school programs as well as a certificate of recognition for her efforts.
As a special thank you to the staff and all of the girls who participated in this year’s contest, Imprimis Group will also make a donation to Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas from their wish list of supplies.

Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas was founded to help girls, ages 6 to 18, overcome barriers and grow into self-sufficient, responsible members of the community. It provides a safe haven for 1,000 girls annually after-school and all day during the summer at four centers located in West Dallas, South Dallas, North Oak Cliff, and Love Field.
